Pre-     Kinder"garden"

Preparing for kindergarten and beyond!

As students become confident in themselves and their ability as learners, we want to create opportunities for them to succeed.

The pre-kinder “garden” class is led by teachers who are experienced in pre-k curriculum and know what is needed to be successful beyond preschool. Children are given several opportunities per day to interact with each other and the teachers at “centers” which focus on pre-reading/ reading, math skills, "Fundations" language and literacy, science and discovery and arts and crafts.

TLG also places an emphasis on social interaction and problem-solving skills as they work throughout their day. Our goal at the end of the pre-k year is to ensure that students are ready for kindergarten~ academically, socially, and emotionally.
